I am very excited to get back to working with all of the students this year! From SGA, to Prom, to Cheer, to general Counseling duties, be on the lookout for news from me on most things student related!

  • The Junior class has already began preparing and fundraising for prom. This year, we are selling Boiled Peanuts at football games to help raise money. This has really been a hit! In addition, we will still be selling chances on a cake raffle at Varsity home games.
  • SGA is kicking off, as we are having class representatives selected this week. Our officers will also be traveling to the Fall State Convention on September 12th. We are looking forward to having more events in the near future!
  • I will soon be getting up a trip for the Seniors to visit both Troy and JSU on different dates. We have already typed resumes. We are about to start work on some scholarships as a class, as well as do a simulator for real life financial circumstances! I am really excited to work closely with each of the Seniors this year. I am also privileged this year to be teaching an ACT Prep class to the Juniors. I really feel like this opportunity will help the with their readiness to improve scores on the test.

With the year just now getting in full swing, I cannot wait to see what is in store for the months ahead! With that, Good luck to all and as always, GO REBELS!!!
