Cheer has gotten off to a great start already this year! Both teams have had their first game and are getting well prepared to cheer on the teams for the rest of the season. In an effort to encourage more crowd involvement this year, Varsity Cheerleaders are having “themes” each week. We have already had a huge success with our Beach theme. Some of the themes to come in the future will be “Rock and Roll,” “Cowboys,” and even “Pirates.” We encourage everyone to support each week and dress up to fit the theme!

We are also hosting a “Dancing With the Teachers” event at each pep-rally. Each week, a different teacher duo is eliminated. Our first week, the duo to be eliminated was Mr. Hurst and Mrs. Taylor.. The students really enjoyed this event, and I can’t wait to see who will be crowned our winner at the end of the season!!
