Hello CA family!

Wow, it has been a busy month. In Reading, the students have been working hard on distinguishing cause and effect, sequencing events, and identifying author’s purpose. In Language, we have discussed independent and dependent clauses, compound and complex sentences, and plural nouns. We are finishing chapter four in History this week.

The students are continuing to read their library books and take tests. I am proud of the progress they have made for the month of September. Keep up the good work! The top reader for August was Kelsea. The students that made their August reading goals were Kelsea, Lexie, Malissa, and Morgan. Awesome job!

We have had awesome class participation for Homecoming week. Everyone has dressed up each day so far. Also, I am proud to announce that our Homecoming representatives for 2016 are Kelsea and Landon. Congratulations again to you two! Good luck Friday night, and go Rebels!
