Sixth grade has had a fantastic month! The following is a brief recap of our month:

  • The students thoroughly enjoyed the book fair this month! We appreciate all of the parents, relatives and friends who came out and helped support this event.  Congratulations Natalie for winning the coloring contest for the 6th grade in our monster themed book fair.
  • We also enjoyed our trip to the Pumpkin Patch this month.  Our 6th graders are definitely still kids at heart when it comes to a bouncy house! We would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Tanya for providing the wonderful snacks for the day.  The brownies were amazing.
  • One of our 6th graders celebrated a birthday this month so we would like to say Happy Birthday Jacob!  We hope you had a great birthday.
  • Congratulations Mattie for being our top AR reader for the month of October! Keep up the good work.
  • We would also like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Mandy for supplying us with the materials that we need to complete our Country Fair projects.
  • The students are putting their finishing touches on their biomes presentations this week.  They have done an amazing job on their Power Points and I am extremely proud of each and every one of them for all the time and hard work that they have put into this project.

October has been a great month and we’re all looking forward to our fall break this weekend.  We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!
