We have thoroughly enjoyed “browsing” our winter vegetables. The fourth grade most recently enjoyed a small broccoli harvest.  We all nibbled on Swiss chard, kale, spinach, radishes, and lettuces.  I know several teachers have enjoyed our turnip greens and mustard. We have thoroughly enjoyed “browsing” our winter vegetables. The fourth grade most recently enjoyed a small broccoli harvest.  We all nibbled on Swiss chard, kale, spinach, radishes, and lettuces.  I know several teachers have enjoyed our turnip greens and mustard.

As soon as weather permits, we’ll be pulling out some of our more mature plants and reseeding our beds with our early spring crops, including some English peas and potatoes.
