My most favorite but frantic time of year is here–Science Fair!  We hope you are encouraging your students to pick out experiments in fields of science that most interest them.  In a lot of ways, this is career exploration as each child tailors their projects to the types of science they personally want to explore.

Handouts with websites for help, along with how to complete the various parts of the project are already in teachers’ hands and are being sent out as needed.

I know a lot of students (and parents) think this is a big headache, but former students now in college labs for their science classes are grateful for the experience in writing up lab reports.
