KINDERGARTEN
A lot has happened since our last Rebel News article, so sit right back and enjoy the read. We started with Coach Dillon and Brittney Burton reading If You Give a Moose a Muffin. After listening to the book, they served us muffins to top off the experience. Boy, did the kids have a great time! Next, we celebrated Easter prior to Spring Break. The students hunted eggs and finished off the day by making Easter baskets to carry home. Last week, we read the story Abuela in our reading book. Abuela is Spanish for grandmother. Mr. Matt Hurst brought his guitar and taught us a new Spanish song about mouse ironing. We loved it. We can’t wait until he returns to teach us another song. In AR we are soaring to new heighths in our hot air balloons. So far, Yates has the lead, but everyone is reading trying to catch and pass him. Please come see our progress. Two of our students have added new family pets to their home. Madison and her sister, Abigail, have two hamsters. Harleen has four bunnies. We still have a lot of activities planned between now and the end of the year. So stay tuned ……..
