We currently have 3 English courses reading the classic novel by the late Harper Lee. The 8th, 9th, and 10th grade are currently engrossed in this novel and seem to enjoy the book thus far. The students have been given quite the experience as to what life was like in Alabama during the 1930s in the fictional “Maycomb County”, or what we all know as Monroeville. I am looking forward to continuing this novel with the class as we return from Spring Break! I’ve had several ask if they may take the book home over the break (so that has to be a good sign!)
