The tenth grade just finished a chapter on right triangles and circles.  In the right triangle chapter, we learn some important concepts like simplifying radicals and Pythagorean Theorem.   They also learn about sine, cosine, and tangent.  Once learned, we then use them with our circle chapter, and then again when we study area.  These concepts will also be used their junior and senior years in high school and then again in college.
