October has been an eventful month for the sixth grade class. The most recent event is the 4-H meeting last week. Although this was the second meeting, it was the first meeting the student officers were able to take the lead. Our student officers include Olivia, President, Zach, Vice President, and Keegan, Secretary. During the meeting, the students were able to participate in a “Build a Bubble Wand” activity using straws, pipe cleaners, etc. The students really enjoyed this!

Our top readers for this month are Keegan and Gavin. Congrats to these students for their diligent efforts in meeting their goals! Our class reading goal for the month of October is 80 books. Even though this is a short month due to a few “no school” days, we are so close to meeting this goal.
