I hope each of you enjoyed the long Presidents Day weekend and are ready to finish this month with a bang. Next Friday we get a new reading book, the last one for the year. We will take our Star Reading test the first week of March. I’m hoping everyone’s reading scores will rise like they did last time. I am proud of all the effort our students are putting into everything they are doing. We will learn how to write a friendly letter, so be looking for mail in March. We are looking forward to our trip to the Springer Theater to see “The Cat in the Hat”.
The Chambers Academy Art Show is coming soon. We are going to try to work on some collages. If your child is interested in any of the other categories, please help them at home. This month our top AR reader race is tight! Only a few more days before we can declare a winner. Let’s see who will win in February. I want to let you know that I am enjoying each day with our wonderful scholars. Thank you for sharing them with me.
