On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, Chambers Academy expanded its Travel Based Learning Program to include a Historic Boston/Salem /Plymouth Tour for students in grades 9-12. Participants braved single digit temperatures and a snowstorm to take part in this new tradition. Sixteen students and five adults visited the Salem Witch Trial Museum, Old North Church, JFK Memorial Library, Fenway Park, Hawthorne’s House of Seven Gables and Plymouth Rock. The group also took a sightseeing tour of the Freedom Trail to include Paul Revere’s house and stops in both Lexington and Concord. The tour ended with a visit to Harvard University where numerous students requested admissions information!
Thank you to all of our students and parents that participated and made this trip possible.
If I may be of service to you or your family, please do not hesitate to contact me.
