Seventh, tenth, and eleventh grades have had an exciting week this week in science. We had our dissecting lab. These students got to handle lots of different anatomy parts and do some dissecting of the animals and organs that correlated to what has already been studied in class. This is the most exciting part of the year for science teachers. We actually can get away from the classroom and notes for awhile and do hands-on things. The 7th graders dissected frogs and looked at owl pellets. The tenth graders dissected rats, and the eleventh graders dissected a cow eye, a pig heart, a pig uterus with fetuses, and a sheep brain. All classes did really well with the procedures!! We all have had a great year!!
