A lot of decisions have been made, and we have filled out a lot of applications and scholarships! There is still a lot more work to do. We have also worked on filling out FASFA, and many have successfully completed this task.   There are, however, several seniors who still need to get these things done. If you do not know, ask your child where he is in this process and let’s get them going. Time is running out.

It has been a busy February. We kicked off the month with a representative from University of South Alabama speaking to the juniors and seniors. I took the 8 th graders to Auburn for Career Expo. WOW! What a wonderful and educational time we had. It opened a lot of eyes to the many, many careers out there. The juniors went to Southern Union to see the spring drama performance, “That’s the Spirit”. I took a small group 9 th -12 th to E-day (Engineering Day) at Auburn. Maybe we will have some future engineers.

Coming up in March we will have: 9 week exams the 4 th -6 th , report cards coming out on Wednesday, March 11, SAT testing the 16-19, ASVAB testing for the juniors on the 18th, and, best of all, SPRING BREAK the 23 rd -27 th .
