The monsters are coming! The monsters are coming! Please come join us for our Fall Book Fair on Monday, October 12, thru Friday, October 16. As you can tell, the fall theme is monsters. We will have an assortment of books for all ages.
On Tuesday, October 13 at 7:00 A.M., we will have our “Breakfast with Books”. This will give parents a chance to visit with their child and have a bite to eat before going to work. On Wednesday, October 14, we will have our “Lunch with Books”. This event will be for grandparents or any other “Grand” person in a child’s life. Come have lunch with your child at their regular lunch time and visit the Book Fair afterwards. Of course, you may come any day from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Our elementary classes will be in a competition for the best monster, so come check out the results of their imaginations. This is a wonderful time to share with your child and get a glimpse of their interests.
Please continue to encourage your child to read by either reading with them, or setting aside a special time for them to read. This benefits a child across all subject areas and gives them a sense of accomplishment.
Remember that all proceeds from the Monster Book Fair will go directly to our library for new books and supplies to benefit our CA students. I do appreciate your support in helping us improve our library!
