We presented our play, “The Strongest One”, to K-5, first, and third grades. There are only five second graders, so we each had 3 or 4 parts!
Last week, in science, we studied some animal life cycles. We retold the story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” to K-5 using sequence cards.
We are studying birds and are bird-watching this week. Jonathan brought us some pine cones and we made some pine-cone bird feeders .
We are the “Royal Readers of Readalot” for our Sept. AR Contest. The boys and girls are earning “jewels” for their crowns. At the end of the month, we will decorate our crowns and proudly wear them!
