We continue to to have fun each week in the library.  This month we have discussed Labor Day, the first day of Autumn, and Johnny Appleseed.  We have also continued to work on our library skills.  The K-4 class has started their library time.  I certainly do enjoy these wonderful little people!

Mr. Elliott is working hard to upgrade our library system on the computer.  Hopefully, we will soon have an online catalog and switch to a bar-code system to check out books.  It will definitely bring our library into the 21st century.

Parents, please encourage your students to read daily.  To be able to do anything well, practice is a must.  Did you have a favorite book as a child?  If so, discuss it with your child, and hopefully they will want to read it, too.  Little ones so want to be like their parents.  Happy Reading!
