We have had a very productive month. I am so impressed with my little people’s inquisitive minds. We have had our first Unit Test both in Math and Reading. I was so impressed with how well they did and how much they retained. They have become experts at writing summaries. Sweet Malissa went the extra mile and produced a full length book review. I was so impressed we paraded around the academy to let her proudly show off her effort. Abby is turning into a little bookworm. Kole mastered a word problem in Math that even had parents scratching their heads. Landon and Austin are detectives when it comes to finding text evidence, and Morgan…sponge! They are all doing so very well and I could not be more proud. Last week, we had the opportunity to go to OPAC and see the musical “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown!” Thank you, Mrs. Jane, for going with us. The kiddos had a blast and they certainly deserved it. My third graders are truly learning to be life long thinkers. This is my heart’s goal in education.
