The sixth graders have been enjoying a Civil War backpack from the Alabama Archives this week. We have watched videos, listened to the music from both the Union and the Confederacy, tried games from the period, and packed a knappersack to carry into battle. It has been most interesting and entertaining!

We look forward to Gabe representing us at the Homecoming game. Peyton will be in Birmingham in the hospital. We hope everyone will keep her in their thoughts and prayers. Come back soon, Peyton!

We will also be celebrating National Pizza month on Thursday, October 31. We plan to have a really fun day!
