Homecoming 2012 is over!  We had a great week in all areas except final score of the football game.  We had a very nice crowd of past graduates and just friends of the school.  A big thank you is extended to Miss Jane for orchestrating the week and especially the halftime festivities.  As usual, everything went off like clockwork.

A special congratulations is extended to all the Homecoming Queen and Princess nominees who were introduced at halftime.  Special winners included Aly Lashley. who was selected the football teams’ sweetheart and Jordan Brown who was voted Princess.  Finally, a big congratulations to our 2012 Queen, Skye Walker.

Our football team will be playing a rare Thursday night game this week as we visit Lakeside in Eufaula.  The pep rally this week will be at the regular time of 2:15 with the team departure immediately following the pep rally.

Due to the distance to Eufaula and the lateness of return home, students will not be reported absent or tardy until the 10:00 hour.  There will be major graded work in all high school classes from 3rd through 7th periods.  Friday is a school day!!  Be here by 10:00!!!

This is White Plains Week!  I know you did not know that, but this is a big week for our school.  You are all urged to be available to help and to participate in the activities in any way possible.  “Miss Debbie”  has again rounded up great gifts for the raffle, so buy those tickets, only $5.00.  You may also buy your stew by the quart or gallon and purchase whole Boston butts.  Check with the school office for an order form.
