Please accept the belated “Welcome Back!”  We have had a great start to the 2012-13 school year.  Our new staff members and new students have meshed into the CA family and we look forward to a tremendous academic year.

We have all been saddened by the recent passing of Mr. Scott Langley.  Mr. Langley has served on the CA Board of Directors since the founding of the school and was the last of the “Founding Fathers” to actively serve the school.  Mr. Scott served as Chairman of the Board for most of those years and was currently the Chairman Emeritus.  His long time service to the school and the AISA had been recognized by his selection to the AISA Hall of Fame. His contributions to CA and to individual students are countless.  Mr. Scott will be missed.

As usual, the school year has started out busy as noted by the following events:

Friday, 8/24/12…….We will host Crenshaw Christian in our first home football game of the year.  Game time is 7:00.  Come out and support our Rebels.

Tuesday, 8/28/12….Mr. Hodges will deliver rings to the Juniors who ordered last spring.

Friday, 8/31/12…….We will host Abbeville in varsity football.

Monday, 9/3/12……Labor Day, school holiday.
