SPANISH
I cannot believe it is already the end of February! The past few weeks have been very busy as my Spanish 2 class has been studying the past tense in Spanish known as the imperfect. They have learned how to talk about what they themselves and others used to do during childhood. These students all completed a slide presentation about their childhoods in Spanish. I was very proud of their projects, and they all did very well. I also got to see some very cute pictures of my students as children!
My Exploratory Spanish class has been busy learning about words for clothing in Spanish, and helping me teach these words to the elementary school students. They have also been reviewing words for colors so that they could describe the color of clothing people were wearing. They enjoyed playing a game where they raced to dress in old clothes based on a description in Spanish.
My Spanish I class has also been learning clothing and colors in Spanish, and this week we have started learning numbers 32-100. The Spanish I students enjoyed the game of racing to put on the old clothes as much as the Exploratory Spanish class did!
