We celebrated our 100th day of school in January. We can’t believe we have come this far. We have learned so much and are looking forward to the rest of the year. Thanks to all of our first graders who wrote such kind words about each other. I truly enjoyed everything that they shared. Please come by and see our great bulletin board. We also made Valentine cards for our senior citizens. Thank you all for the wonderful Valentine’s gifts. I appreciate each one of them.
We are looking forward to two field trips in March. We will be learning about science at the Scientific Circus, and we will be going to Southern Union to learn about health careers and ways to stay healthy. We will be celebrating Dr. Suess’ birthday by participating in Read Across America on March 3rd. We are all excited about the book fair! The times are March 6-10 from 7:30 until 3:00. Breakfast with Books will be on Tuesday, March 7 from 7:00-8:00. On Wednesday, March 8th, we will have our GRAND lunch at 10:40. Please send your reservation form and payment by Friday, March 3. Please come join us and grab some exciting books.
In April, we will have two horse shows. If you are in need of volunteer hours, please consider helping at the horse shows. Thank you for all you do to help your child be successful at Chambers.
