Makala became our first member of the Tooth Club by pulling her own tooth!
In Science, we’ve studied the different plant parts, variations of plants, and the life cycle of plants. We soaked lima beans and observed the three parts of a seed. We planted bean seeds to see who can grow the tallest beanstalk and recorded its growth in our Plant Journal. After I read “Jack and the Beanstalk,” the children wrote who (Jack or The Giant) they thought should get the treasures and why.
Our Rebelettes this year are Cate, Kaitlyn, Anna Kate, Alivia, and Makala.
