Deadlines are approaching for our Seniors for scholarships and financial aid applications. I, along with each individual senior, have been working hard  to make sure each one of them has everything filled out like they should and sent in on time! We can now begin to relax and await the announcement to see if any of our students receive the scholarships we have been applying for!

I also took a group of around thirty 10th-12th graders to Auburn University on Friday for E-Day, or Engineering Day. I was very impressed with each of our students and the way they presented themselves as representatives of the school. They had the opportunity to travel all over campus touring each individual engineering department and participate in various activities set-up throughout the campus. I feel they each gained some sort of knowledge from the experience, as they all expressed interest in going back again next year!

Now that I have taken care of the majority of the Senior academic requirements, I will soon begin sorting through the Junior’s transcripts in order to make sure they are lined up with the correct classes for completing their Senior year next year. Parents of Juniors, be on the lookout for notes and emails from me regarding your child’s academic process.
