We sailed our way into October on our Pirate Ship. During the book fair we decorated flags to hang in the library. Wil’s flag won first place in kindergarten. We traveled to Columbus to see “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” Everyone enjoyed the play. Mrs. Mindee Allen helped us paint a Santa Claus with our hands for the upcoming Country Fair craft. The Lafayette Fire Department brought the fire truck and ambulance for the students to learn about. Major Barry Moody came and spoke to the students. We have been busy learning about animals, pumpkins, numbers, sight words, parts of a story, sounding out words and lots more. Happy birthday to Brandon who turned 6 this month. We are excited about spending the day at the Pumpkin Patch on Thursday, October 28th.
