We are halfway through the season and neither our JV or Varsity teams have a loss. It is truly a great time to be a Rebel as our young men have valiantly played and represented our school with class and respect. The JV Rebels are 5-0-1 with their only blemish coming in a tie to Glenwood. They have improved each week and have found ways to come out ahead every time. We have played really good defense and have controlled the ball on offense through a hard nosed running game. I am really proud of the way that they have progressed.
The varsity Rebels are 5-0 and ranked #6 in the latest AISA rankings. The fan support has been awesome, and our players really look forward to performing in front of them each week. Our players are playing fast and physical, and our program has attained a level not seen in a long time. I am really proud of the way the way that they are playing, and we are excited to see how the second half of the season plays out.
