Hello CA Family,

October has been an eventful and enjoyable month! The students got to attend a snake show were everyone was amazed by snakes, reptiles, and a young alligator named Sweet Pea. The big event of October was the fall book fair. Everyone was super happy with all their items. I even bought a few books myself. A special thank you to Mrs. Richardson and everyone that helped make the book fair a success. I know fifth grade enjoyed going throughout the week. I would also like to thank everyone that attended “Breakfast with Books” and “Lunch With Someone Grand”.  This month the fifth grade took part in their second 4H meeting. During this meeting, the students participated in a hands-on activity where they made their own group bubble wand to test different soapy mixtures. Everyone had an absolute blast! We will end the month of October at the Pumpkin Patch for a day of fun.

Each student made a pirate flag to be displayed during the book fair. Congratulations to our class winner- Kole.

The students that made their September reading goal were Kole, Abby, Kelsea, Lexie, Landon, Malissa, and Morgan. Awesome job everyone! Our top AR reader for September was Morgan Newman. Congratulations again, Morgan!
