This past Monday, I took the Juniors and Seniors to Jacksonville State University for various departmental tours. While there, they got to go on a scavenger hunt to find numerous objects and buildings across campus. I feel this hands-on experience was really neat for them, and they also got to explore a departmental tour of their choice. These tours ranged from nursing, engineering, drama, athletics, cheer, and walking around on their own to different facilities. Big thanks to Coach Allen for taking a day to drive us  there on the bus!

Our Seniors are working on filling out various scholarships, and next week is Free Application week! Several colleges across the state are waiving their application fee for the week to encourage students to apply. We will be working on applying to those colleges of their choice over next week! Juniors have taken their first practice ACT and are in the process of learning how to better their scores for next time.

I hope everyone has a great Fall Break and enjoys their few days off!
