Our class enjoyed the Indian PowWow on October 14th.  We were entertained by men, women, and children, dressed in their ancestral tribe’s clothing and doing tribal dances (even the original chicken dance). Our class enjoyed the Indian PowWow on October 14th.  We were entertained by men, women, and children, dressed in their ancestral tribe’s clothing and doing tribal dances (even the original chicken dance). They taught us about their weapons, customs, clothes, food, instruments, how to sound out their Indian war cries correctly, and so much more.

Spelling Bee Winners were:

September 30th – Tyane, Jonathan, Cristina, Laney, Kenadie, and Luke

October 7th – Luke, Kenadie, Layla, Cristina, Jonathan, and Tyane

October 14th – Tyane, Jonathan, Cristina, Laney, and Sarah

October 21st – Luke, Kenadie, Sarah, Baeda, Layla, Laney, Cristina, Jonathan, and Tyane

The 4th, 5th, and 6th grades were presented with a program by Miss Rachel from 4-H.  We broke into groups and invented our own bubble makers.  We then tested the inventions with different types of liquids to see which ones made the best and longest lasting bubbles.
