Our 6th graders are off to a wonderful start!  The last couple of weeks we have been busy, busy, busy, but we have also had a great time getting to know each other.  We are excited to welcome three new students to our class this year.  We are so happy that John , James, and Blake decided to come and join our CA family.  With our new additions, we now have 19 students in the 6th grade classroom.  Our 6th grade girls include: Bailey, Claire, Jamie, Jenna, Lauren, Lindsey, Kaylyn, Natalie, Mattie, and Jenna Lee.  Our 6th grade boys are: Jacob, Wyatt, Benjamin, Nic, Hayden, Hunter, John, Blake, and James.  Watch out ladies, the guys are gaining on you!

This class is also a very spirited bunch! School spirit, that is!  Our JV volleyball players include: Bailey, Natalie, Jamie, Mattie, Claire, Kaylyn, and Lindsey.  Bailey also plays on the Varsity volleyball team.  Our 6th grade CA Girls for the 2015- 2016 school year include: Natalie, Jenna, Lauren, Claire, Lauren, Kaylyn, and Lindsey.  Our 6th grade Pee Wee football players for the 2015-2016 school year include: James (position; tail back), Jacob (position; left tackle), Hayden (position; wide receiver), Wyatt (position; guard), John (position; center), Nic (position; right guard), Benjamin (position; tight end), Hunter (position; right tackle).  We wish you all the best of luck. We have no doubt that you will represent your school with the pride and dignity of a CA Rebel.

It has been a great past couple of weeks and I am so thankful that I have been blessed with such a wonderful group of students.  To all of my parents, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you. Thank you, not just for your support, but also for your children.  They really are a great bunch of kids and I know that I have all of you to thank for that. The students and I would also like to say “Thank You” to all of the parents who got together and arranged for us to borrow the mini-fridge for our classroom.  They were so exited when they walked in and saw it! Their smiles were priceless.  It’s going to be a great year! It’s good to be home.
