The Rebels baseball team returned to the field on Monday after Spring Break with an impressive showing against Kingwood Christian in Alabaster. The Rebels played extremely well, but unfortunately dropped the contest in the final inning 2-1. On Tuesday, the Rebels played Lyman Ward in a double-header and won both. Those wins locked the Rebels a spot in the 1st round of the playoffs (April 17-18). Next week, the baseball team will be traveling to Grady on Tuesday for their last region games of the year against South Montgomery. If the Rebels can win both, then they will clinch the #2 seed and host the 1st round of the playoffs.
