March has flown by! We worked really diligently preparing for the SAT tests. The children have grown in their thinking abilities so much this year. As we reviewed the strategies and skills we have used in all content areas, their confidence grew and grew. They saw all the knowledge they have acquired thus far and were engaged in applying all that they learned. We are still enjoying our geometry unit and will embark upon exploring fractions next. We are learning about cultural diversity among various continents and countries. We will also be examining in detail the life cycle of plants. I have steadily increased the length and complexity of their reading passages to build their stamina. I have seen tremendous growth in each of them. These are simply a neat group of kiddos.
