Hang in there! I promise that it’s all worth it!

Science Fair is definitely a love-hate relationship, but it does pay long term dividends: an actual understanding of scientific procedure, research skills, creative thinking and collaboration skills, a chance to explore areas of interest not covered in class material, hands on science–the actual use of scientific technique vs. book knowledge only, both written and oral communication skills, and a taste of what a single college lab write up is like (and they come around WEEKLY!). It IS worth it.
