Students and parents had a wonderful time visiting the Pumpkin Patch.  The beautiful fall day was perfect for picking pumpkins and a hay ride.  We appreciate our parents for making this class trip a success!  Glenn and Tammy Morgan always do a great job hosting this fall event.

We also visited the Native American Festival and Pow Wow’s Student Day.  We enjoyed the stories told by Native Americans.  The students  got to shoot an authentic Native American bow and arrow.  The hands-on activities were a great experience for the students.  Great field trip!

All Fifth graders met their AR goal for the month of October.  These students are Gavin, Olivia, Alison, Levi, Kirsten, Jordan, and Dylan.  Olivia was our top AR reader.  Great job, students!  I am extremely proud of you.

Kirsten was the winner of the Book Fair Coloring Contest.  Congratulations!
