Homecoming week was great! To start the week off, the Varsity Cheerleaders did a great job decorating the halls, and everyone did a wonderful job on their door decorations. Winners of the door are: 1st grade-Catch the Cougars, 6th grade-Rebel Cafe, 7th-Cripple the Cougars, and 10th grade-Crack the Cougars. We had fun dressing up all week and Mrs. Burton’s 4th grade won dress-up. They were 100% everyday. The “Roast the Cougars” bonfire on Thursday night was fun. The JV and Varsity cheerleaders worked hard all week to prepare for the SUPER Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday. The Homecoming Court was introduced at the Pep Rally and were on the field at half-time of the big game Friday night. The Rebelettes, CA Girls, JV Cheerleaders, and Varsity Cheerleaders were also introduced that night. The Homecoming Court: K-3-Mattie Kate & John, K-4-Emmalee & Brandon, K-5-Abigail & Ty, 1st-Beth & Wrangler, 2nd-Talley & Kent, 3rd-Tyane & Jonathan, 4th-Lexie & Kole, 5th-Alison & Jordan, 6th-Claire & Wyatt, 7th-Madison & Joshua, 8th-Olivia & Gabe; Princess candidates-9th-Tate escorted by her father, 10th-Holli escorted by her grandfather, 11th Elizabeth escorted by Jake, and Queen candidates-Senior-Hannah Slay escorted by her father and Senior-Brittney escorted by her father. The Cheerleader Sweetheart was named at the Pep Rally and that was Senior- Justin. At half-time the Football Sweetheart was named and that was Senior-Ragan. The Princess was crowned and she is Tate. And our 2015 Homecoming Queen is Hannah. After the big win by our football team the Junior Class hosted our Homecoming Dance/Bonfire at the gazebo. It was so much fun!
