Throughout the month of February, the Kindergarten Crew at Chambers Academy will be learning a ton of new and interesting facts and lessons. Below are the lesson plans that will be taught throughout the month.
Week of February 3-7: “What if” reading unit, /oy/ & /oi/ sound, the life cycle of a fish, recycling, & writing journals about “what if” situations.
Week of February 10-14: Dino Week (types of dinosaurs, fossils, & track), /ai/ & /ay/ sound, graphing, presidents, Valentines Day, and how to write a letter.
Week of February 17-21: “Where the Wild Things Are” reading unit, /igh/ sound, addition with doubles, the three states of matter, being “fishers of men”, and how people are alike.
Week of February 24-28: Parts of a book, /R/ blends, telling time (quarter hour), and the plant life cycle.
Next Month: We kick off with Dr. Seuss Week!!!
