October has flown by fast. We would like to congratulate Emily for being our top AR reader for the month. Also, we would like to congratulate Zachary and Spencer for making A/B Honor Roll. Congratulations to the following students for achieving All A Honor Roll:  Tally , Cameron, Kayla, Halle, Keila.Kent, Emily, Drew, and MeLeah.
First Grade enjoyed our fall break and came back to school ready for our trip to Pumpkin Lane. It was all we could talk about for the three days before the trip. We included some pumpkin activities in our daily lessons. We read several Halloween and safety books and watched videos about Halloween and safety. Learning about fire safety was fun as we practiced our best stop, drop, and roll techniques.
The class is excited about our next projects: participating in the Veterans Day program and helping Tom Turkey disguise himself so he can survive Thanksgiving.
We are also excited about Christmas which is coming soon.
