The Gideons International placed the first Bible in a hotel room in Montana.  Today, Gideons are organized in more than 190 countries.  We were honored to have a Gideon, Mr. House, visiting and distributing Bibles to each fifth grade student.  He told us the history of  the Gideons.  The students asked Mr. House many questions and even quoted a Bible verse for him.  What a wonderful organization!

The fifth graders earned an AR trip to Callaway Gardens.  Congratulations to Vicki, Joshua, Gage, Abbie, Jacob, Brandalon, Dean, Alyssa, Britten, Cade, and Myles.  Gage was our top AR reader for the year.  I am very proud of these fantastic fifth graders!

Thank you, parents, for sharing your child with me this year.  I appreciate you and miss them already.  Have a safe and fun summer.
