We would like to share our terrific news!  All fifth graders met their AR goal for the year.  These students have earned an AR trip to beautiful Callaway Gardens.  Congratulations to Vicki, Josh, Gage, Abbie, Jacob, Brandalon, Dean, Alyssa, Britten, Cade, and Myles.

In our reading class we are enjoying an old classic, “Where the Red Fern Grows.”  We can’t wait to watch the movie.  In math we are still working hard on fractions.  We love fractions!!!!

Fifth Graders had a wonderful time hunting eggs at the Easter party.  We always have fun at The Oaks.  Field Day is on May 9th.  The fifth graders are ready for the Tug of War against the sixth graders.  We have a secret strategy! Please come out and enjoy great food and fun.

I would like to take this time to thank my wonderful students, parents , and staff for your thoughts and prayers during my recent surgery  and recovery.  I hope you know how much your thoughtfulness is appreciated.  The beautiful flowers brightened my recovery time. I sincerely appreciate all the cards and phone calls I received.  Thank you, Ms. Brooke, for taking care of my students and doing a fantastic job. The CA Family is the best!

I am so proud of the accomplishments the fifth graders have made.  I have enjoyed each one of them so much.  They are ready to tackle the sixth grade!
