These past few weeks the K-5 Crew has studied and learned about who our community heroes are and how to be Patriotic. If you ask any of the students, they will tell you that to be patriotic means to “love your country.” We have also been learning our character education skills of showing love and respect for one another. I told them that they need to show love and respect for our country and our heroes the same way we show love and respect for our friends and family. We say the Pledge of Allegiance every day to show how grateful we are to live in America. I pray each of these children grow up knowing how important it is to be proud to be an American, and I hope they continue to learn and strive to be good citizens. God Bless the U.S.A.!
