What a busy and exciting past few weeks at Chambers Academy! The Academy’s first volleyball team ended their season on October 3 , and we are very proud of their effort and growth in this introductory year. The Pee-Wee and Junior Varsity football teams also ended their seasons, and we are proud of their work ethic and determination to help build our football program. Thank you to all of our coaches who work tirelessly for the growth and development of our student-athletes.
A special thanks to Buster Reese and the countless hours he devoted to this year’s Chambers County Country Fair. The fair would not have been possible without his direction and the help of numerous division leaders and other volunteers from Chambers’ past, present and future. It was a beautiful weekend of fun and fellowship with all generations of CA family members.
On Monday, October 9, as our student body slept in, our faculty was headed to Montgomery for our annual Alabama Independent School Association Professional Development Day. We enjoyed meeting with schools from around our association and learning how to become better educators. Thank you, teachers, for promoting excellence in the classroom and being lifelong learners.
Our students spent Monday, October 9, studying and did an excellent job in preparing for their nine weeks exams. They endured a hectic four day week with Tuesday and Thursday night football games but still organized themselves for success. Keep up the great work!
As we begin the second nine weeks, our extracurricular activity expands tremendously. Parents, please continue to help our faculty and staff by ensuring our students are on time and prepared for class every day. Thank you for your continued support of our mission at Chambers Academy.
