As we bring another year to a close, may I take this opportunity to thank parents for entrusting your most valuable possessions, your children, to us for the past school year.  We hope you are pleased with the academic, social, and safety environment afforded by Chambers Academy.

Registration for the 2013-2014 year is underway.  The registration fee of only $250.00 ensures your child a spot in his/her class and extends insurance coverage for those who will participate in summer athletics activities like volleyball, basketball, football, weight training, and cheerleading.  Please register now so we will have more accurate numbers with which to plan.

As most of you know, Coach Don McGinty is retiring from CA and the teaching profession.  At the end of June, Coach will complete 35 years of service to CA.  During that time, he has taught basically every science course at the school, coached every sport, served as athletic director and served as headmaster.  Throughout the years and in every assignment, Coach has served with class and dignity always the superior ambassador for our school.  We all wish him the very best in any future endeavors.

Miss Jane and her CA Drama Team will be presenting their end of the year Variety Show Friday evening, May 17, at 7:00 P.M. in the gym.  Come out and enjoy the talent and creativity of CA students.

You are invited to join our senior class of 2013 at their Baccalaureate service at the LaFayette First Baptist Church on Sunday, 5/19/13, at 6:00 P.M.

The busy week continues on Monday, 5/20/13, as our 6th grade graduation and elementary awards program is held in the gym beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Kindergarten graduation is next.  It will be held on Tuesday, 5/21/13, at 6:00 P.M., also in the gym.

The academic year comes to a close with high school graduation on Friday, 5/24/13, at 7:00 P.M.  This year’s ceremony will be held on the football field.  If inclement weather is approaching, the graduation exercise will be moved back to the gym.
