Kindergarten welcomes the month of November with thoughts of Thanksgiving in their minds. I asked the class, “What are you thankful for?” and many of them replied with the normal, “Candy”, “Toys”, “Mommy”, and “my dog”… With their little minds tuned into what they are thankful for I gave them a challenge. Everyday until Thanksgiving break, the students will have to come up with at least one thing they are thankful for. I will write it down and post it on the wall. By the holiday break, I hope to have Cameron, Drew, Makinlea, Halle, Keila, Jacob, and Luke thinking about things they are truly grateful/thankful for. I also challenge you… What are you thankful for? Come up with at least one thing everyday and start counting your many blessings!
