Congratulations to Coach Motley and the CA football Rebels for their exciting 45-42 victory over SMCA last Friday night. All 15 members of the squad have remained loyal to each other and the team. This victory is the result of that hard work and perseverance.
Please come out to the gym Thursday evening at 7:00 for our annual black light pep rally. If you have never seen a black light pep rally, you will be surprised at the effect. Miss Jane and the cheerleaders work hard each year to make this a special effort.
In conjunction with the pep rally Thursday evening, the football and cheerleading seniors will be recognized and their parents introduced. We certainly appreciate the contribution made by these seniors and hope you will join us to show them how much they mean to us.
The Rebels final football game of the season will be Friday at Coosa Valley in Harpersville. You are encouraged to make the drive up highway 280 and support our Rebels as they follow up on last week’s victory.
All members of the CA family should be receiving information delivered by their students or in the mail regarding our annual fruit and meat sale. As in the past we will make available citrus fruit from Florida Farm Bureau. This is normally fruit picked one day, shipped that night, and delivered to us the next day. The meat products are specialty products produced by Southern Heritage of Madison, Mississippi. Prices of the fruit and meat products are normally lower than similar outlets and the quality is unquestioned. We believe that almost all Southern families purchase fruit and special meat products around Christmas, so why not from CA? Please get orders in as soon as you can so we can be scheduled for delivery the week of December 3-7, 2012.
