Many thanks to the scores of CA family members who put in the time and effort to make the 2012 White Plains Country Fair a success. We were blessed with perfect weather and nice crowds to enjoy the fair as well as the Rodeo. While too many people contributed to name them all, I would be remiss if I did not extend a special thanks to Buster Reese who basically started last fall to organize and put this year’s fair together. While we are extremely grateful for the use of the land and facilities at White Plains, the move into town and coordination with the Rodeo will provide tremendous growth potential for the Fair.

Nine week exams are underway.  First nine week grades will be sent home next Wednesday (10/17/12), so parents should expect to see the Report Card with the usual Wednesday papers.

The football game with Restoration Academy, scheduled for 10/10/12, has been cancelled. This decision was made due to the small number of players physically fit to perform.  Athletic and administrative leaders of Chambers Academy are sorry for this change, but the safety of our students is our primary concern.  The status of the final two football games will be decided each week dependent upon the number of players cleared to play.
